Keloid scars
Keloid scars are a big, irregular masses that are characterized by uncontrolled growth due to excessive production of collagen and reduced ability to degrade it. Such scars extend beyond the boundaries of the original wound, do not undergo involution, and almost always recur after surgical excision.
Conventional methods include the use of compression therapy, silicone, vascular lasers, cryotherapy and steroid therapy.
As part of my practice and work at the Ambroziak Clinic, I can offer you the most modern treatment of keloid scars through surgical excision and complementary superficial skin radiotherapy with the only Sensus SRT-100 device in Poland.
